Established in 1987, Pelosi Wood Floors is a third generation flooring business started by Gene Pelosi’s grandfather. Back in the early 1920’s Gene’s grandfather, Gino Pelosi, immigrated to Washington DC from Italy establishing his wood flooring business (in Southeast Washington DC). He handed down his knowledge to Gene’s father, Gene Pelosi Sr., who took over his business and proceeded to pass on his knowledge of the trade to Gene Pelosi Jr., current owner of Pelosi Wood Floors, Inc. It continues to be an independently owned and operated family business proudly serving the greater Washington area (and the Outer banks of NC).

Today Pelosi Wood Floors prides itself in providing beautifully crafted floors with an outstanding record of quality service and attention to detail backed with the experience of 3 generations. Pelosi Wood Floors has broadened its flooring services under Gene Jr.’s ownership. It now installs ceramic tile, and provides interior and exterior painting. Today Pelosi Wood Floors can offer a wider selection of products to beautify your home including custom medallions, borders and inlays.
